Every leaf on this tree is a small conclusion that someone — or some group of people — reached after thinking a problem through.
treelnk collects the sites that let a person grow the way a tree does: they give delight, they give knowledge, they give something of value. That is the core of it, the trunk — not the kind of site that keeps you scrolling until three in the morning and leaves you with dark circles and a dead phone. For now, it has grown only four branches. That does not mean there will only ever be four; it means these are the ones growing first:
- Fun sites — interest is the most powerful engine of learning. If you want to learn something, start by looking for the fun in it;
- IELTS material — to hear more than one side you first need a language everyone shares;
- University websites — learning has no end. If you decide to go further, choosing a good school matters;
- Free papers — knowledge is priceless, and so the people who give it away are the most generous. Thanks to every organisation and institution that lets papers be read and downloaded for free. They probably do not know how many desk lamps they lit at midnight, just by doing it.
There is no noisy socialising here — only quiet thinking and exchange: in reading and writing, in long text.
treelnk uses the word seek, not the word move. Always searching, always on the way; cold and clear, alone by nature.

The line between seeking and moving is the hardest rule in this tree's inclusion standard: not a porter of traffic, but a guide to reading.

A tree grows from its roots, so inclusion has a standard: a site must be first-hand, readable and worth taking away — not something that keeps you scrolling and leaves nothing behind.
Delight
Interest is the most powerful engine of learning. You play, you laugh, you are surprised once — and remember what curiosity feels like.
Knowledge
Afterwards you can say something, quote something, use something. This is the trunk that holds the tree up.
Value
You will still want to open it two years from now. This is the root system, and it decides how long the tree lives.

- Likely still there in ten yearsInstitutions, libraries, open journals, long-maintained personal sites. The reliability of a link is part of the knowledge.
There is no noisy socialising here
Only quiet thinking and exchange — in reading and writing, in long text. So there is no account to create, no like button, no emoji to throw. When you write a reason there is exactly one thing to do: finish your thought. The character count walks quietly beside you.
Long text means thinking. A sentence is often an emotion; a paragraph is a judgement — you have to work out what it is good for and who it helps before you can keep going. So the box does not rush you; it just quietly counts.

It turns an afternoon of curiosity into something you can open again and again. I first found it while looking for a diagram for a lesson, and every page turned out to be worth two minutes — not one of those sites you forget the moment you close it.
Readable on a phone too
The whole site is mobile-friendly: one branch scrolls with a thumb, long paragraphs do not jump on a narrow screen, and the first screen loads without images. When it is time to write a real reason, switch to a bigger screen and take your time.
What it refuses to include
The content machine of social media is the opposite of this tree: it optimises for time-on-site and emotional intensity, not for a person growing. Feeds, short video, clickbait, repost accounts, pure outrage — however loud, they do not get on the tree.
